Biography

Marcelo Mendes , Illustrator

An American born, Luxembourg raised artist that focuses on representational figurative art who began his artistic journey in 2010. Beginning with the basics at Miami Dade College and currently studying at The School of Visual Arts, he has received a variety of awards and has had work in a few shows within both Miami and New York.

His experiences in multi-cultural environments influenced his art ranging from Japanese Sumi-E to intaglio printmaking and oil paintings.
